Science of touch tells us how it can be preventive medicine, let alone the many fascinating experiments ... students who received a supportive touch on the back or arm from a teacher were nearly twice as likely to volunteer in class as those who did not. A sympathetic touch from a doctor leaves people with the impression that the visit lasted twice as long, compared with estimates from people who were untouched.  And even NBA basketball teams whose players touch each other more win more games!

To put it into practice, bunch of us went out to a park in Baroda and offered free hugs. Below are the photos of what happened next ...
