In the Kenyan shopping mall attack, four year old Elliot Prior saw his mom shot in the thigh. At that point, he confronted the gunman by saying, "You're a bad man. Let us leave." Incredibly, the gunman took pity on them, and let Elliot and his six-year-old sister leave after giving them a Mars candy bar. Here's a photo of the siblings right as they got out:
