This afternoon, on my way from this patch of human dwellings perched on the edge of the Pacific I call home, and heading to the nearest town (45 minutes away), I stopped. I got out of the car enticed by the magnificent redwoods and the light. I stepped into silence. Such silence which knows me by the calmness of breath, the clarity of thought, and the vulnerability of my heart. I gather now that spellbound moment into a new year prayer for you. Dear friend, may you find infinite moments to listen deeply and let your heart overflow with love. S2
