His name is Peter. When I asked him if he'd like to go get a bite to eat he responded, "I was just packing up to head over to the Presbyterian Church." I asked him if he'd like a ride and he said, "I prefer to walk...otherwise I don't have anything to do and I just end up sitting around." Even with the rain we were having he preferred to walk. He is homeless but has a huge heart. Peter said he hangs out near the local library during rainy weather because he can get some cover. At night he sleeps near the 99 Cent store. The other day Carol suggested we bring him some food. We had some soup that I had brought home, so I heated up two containers for him. When I met him today he thanked me for our kindness. Peter has little to no material possession, yet he looked happier than I did at that moment. When I left him I sat in the car and just cried. And now I ask myself, "How can I be of service?" and I hear Nipun saying, "yes!"...the answer is just "yes!"
