Kindness As Peacemaking
​Usman Mohammed Inuwa is a peacemaker who facilitates dialogues between Muslims and Christians to decrease violence in North Eastern Nigeria. He describes the Seeds for Peace Seminar which was to promote Biointensive Organic Agriculture as a way to build relationships between different religions, tribes, and cultures. Besides having the participants exchange open pollinated seeds, part of the process was to have them share an experience of extraordinary kindness they have received and never forgotten. I was very moved to learn about using stories of kindness to bring about peace and want to share this with the Service Space community.
