Last Saturday after the meditation prior to the Pollination Project Salon where sister Claudia Bernardi's ARTivism was about to blow our hearts and minds, brother Ari took the lead in that same matter, by sharing a truly Jai Jagat! story, those that once you know about them, our collective mind feels more at peace and deeply recharged with hope for the future and wellbeing of our beloved planetary community. Here it is from brother Ari's own words:

"Two weeks ago my wife received an email from our son's 2nd grade teacher that Jonah wasn't doing the pledge of allegiance and that Jonah had asked his teacher if he could speak with him about it. Jonah told Mr. Dern he preferred pledging his allegiance to the Earth. So he and his teacher came up with a different pledge he could say while the rest of the class said the pledge of allegiance. Their conversation was brought up during a class discussion the next day. The class then had a blind vote (I guess they all were told to close their eyes when hands were raised) as to which pledge resonated with them most. A large majority of the class preferred the words of the new pledge. Since that date, the entire class each morning now pledges their allegiance to El Planeta. I've pieced together the story from Jonah's teacher, an assistant (public school)teacher who was substituting that day (who was at the Salon tonight!), and from Jonah (who didn't think it was a big deal and required some questioning). So, without further ado, here is Mr. Dern's class new pledge:

"I pledge allegiance to the Earth and all the life which it supports. One planet, in our care, irreplaceable, with sustenance and respect for all ."

May many of these kids warriors for the Earth spread far and wide to all corners of our round borderless country.

This is citizen of the World Jonah in a couple of photos showing his glimpses of a free mind fostering our collective liberation... Jai Jagat! :-)
