Several of us shared space this morning for a revival of the periodic calls of volunteers of the Global Awakin Calls Team!  From Washington, DC and Boston to Lima, Peru – from a cattle ranch in Idaho to the Bay Area – our team members gathered to reflect on and share about their “aha” moments that have arisen from, and been made possible by, the labors of love of countless behind-the-scenes volunteers of the Global Awakin Calls.

Among the nuggets shared: Kozo’s experience reaching out to and connecting with Jeannie Kahwajy, a guest whose call he heard after-the-fact, only to learn that they share experiences about health issues involving themselves and loved ones; Lynn’s experience of “just doing it” in jumping into her moderating role, and so expertly doing so in the recent call with Bonita Banducci; Matt’s experience connecting with Carol Ruth Silver for clarification while transcribing her call, only to receive the gift of her offer to mentor his daughter! Amit’s inspiration by the Gentle Art of Blessing of Pierre Pradervand, and by Pavi’s lyrical moderating abilities! The deep listening entailed and exercised in transcribing the calls, and the blessings of describing the “light” within each speaker via their biographies, including upcoming speakers Kristi Nelson, Philippe Simonin, and Rikin Gandhi; Ripples from the beautiful insights of so many recent speakers!

We look forward to continuing these calls on a monthly basis (regular time slot TBD via poll of team members) – so that we can continue to share experiences and gifts of the heart from our service journeys.
