Some of you may remember that a couple of months ago, the DailyGood team shipped a "box of appreciation" to Steve De Quintal, a subscriber who has been sending us messages of gratitude unfailingly every week - for years. Two months later the messages were still coming but there was no mention of having received the package. We checked in with him about it and were sweetly touched when he responded with excitement that the box hadn't arrived, but not to worry just the very thought that on top of sending DailyGood emails we would think to send him a package was a huge gift :) Afreen had put a lot of thoughtfulness into the assortment of tags and I was a little disappointed that it had been swallowed up by the postal service...
Then a few days ago came this triumphant mail from Steve:
It has arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know what to say, such unexpected kindness has made in me a heart filled with love.
You and the team do the magic, I just say thank you for such beauty and I'm getting the gifts.
The world is a beautiful place, thank you, thank you and thank you.
I have five children who I will be sharing the treasures with.
I will send a family photo in a moment so that you have an idea of whose lives you have made a difference and continue to make a difference to!

And then a day later...
The family and I loved the gifts, truly treasures that will be kept forever, not only because they are wonderful in itself, but the random act of kindness that brought it to us...

My whole family is taking more and more of an interest in your special work...Thank you again and again for everything, take care and have a very special weekend!

Gladdens the heart to think of the way Steve is rippling our small gesture out to his young family. Sharing the fruits of his gratitude, planting more seeds in the process. And onward the cycle grows.
