~ Volunteers for Mohanam Kindergarten School in Pondicherry, Chennai:

1. Teller of Tales – Let us bring back the tradition of grandma’s stories. If you are full of stories that inspires children and ignite their creativity you are welcome to Mohanam Kindergarten and share your creativity stories with our children.

2. Musicians – It was Shakespeare who said, "If music be the food of love, play on." Whether you are a singer or instrument player or song composer or music composer we need your talents to share with our children to motivate them to unfold their talents.


3. Performing artist - Theater, drama, dance drama, dance art are expressions of life. Here at Mohanam School, we welcome you to be with our children to discover their artistic instincts.

4. Film maker – Help create a film that touches heart of millions on this planet. Our children await to explore their inner being.


5. Artisans - drawing, painting, clay modelling, sculpting or carving or origami all art is Divine expression. We invite you to bless our children with your artistic abilities.

6. Researcher- If you are one of those who is sailing life's journey to discover secrets of life, existence and working on creating legacy for humanity to help them understand themselves and life then it will be delightful for us to have your presence with our children.


7. Innovator – If you have the passion for creating something new and leading the world with innovative ideas... Yes! We need your knowledge for our children and enlighten them with your knowledge.

8. Administration Management: Paul Hawken says, “Good management is the art of making problems so interesting and their solutions so constructive that everyone wants to get to work and deal with them.” If your area of expertise is in administration and school management, to the school non-teaching staff your abilities will be a gift.

Mohanam believes in values of care, love and peace. We need volunteers with a positive mental attitude who is self-motivated and takes initiative. Working with little kids can be demanding and requires patience.

It takes a village to raise a child, meaning it takes an entire community to raise a child. A child has the best ability to become a healthy adult if the entire community takes an active role in contributing to the rearing of the child.
