A Ripple Of Karma Kitchen

1 min read
I think a lot of you know of my healing journeys to New Mexico, but I wanted to send heartfelt gratitude -- because it all started at a meeting with Justice Yazzie at Karma Kitchen!

Our friendship has grown and I will be traveling back this Spring to set up a pop-up Chinese Medicine clinic for the Navajo people there.

I've written about the whole thing in my latest musing, and also mentioned ServiceSpace.

I think back with wonder at the divine plan that created my first meeting with Justice Yazzie. At that time, I was struggling to express my understanding of the heart of Chinese Medicine. The root of Chinese Medicine seemed so breathtakingly simple, so overlooked, so misunderstood and so needed in this world but I was filled with trepidation and self-doubt about my ability to teach such startlingly simple yet profound ideas. Meeting Justice Yazzie was just the right medicine at the right time for me to grow in my work. This healing journey has helped me overcome my small self, the source of my self-doubt, and re-connects me to the bigger truth of healing.

Thank you many times over.

Thuy Nguyen - Very well and lucidly written musing. I felt as though I was your fellow traveler on that anguished journey. Wish you the best for your Pop-up Chinese Medicine Clinic.
