Art is heart with circles and love

When I hear the word “ heart circle”,it brings me immense happiness just as purely as I’m watching a baby smile. Recently did a heart circle at Nagpur at a home which is transforming into a shelter home for 92 and more girls. These girls now have a home, which is volunteer run by an NGO called Zero gravity.

Nagpur being my city where I have grown up and spent my life’s most treasured moments , and there when I had the opportunity of doing a heart circle, it almost felt like re-living old moments just for art and the joy of seeing art as not just art, but a human connection.

These girls in a hall where seated in a circle and when I asked them to sit in silence they literally did that, to which I still feel awe and admiration for the girls. The topic given to them was today we will do what makes us happy, and all of them came up with so varied emergence. One girl had written on her paper khushi with different colors , someone had made a school, someone had written the volunteer names.It was so beautiful to see the girls gradually making smaller circles where they shared with each other colors, brushes and also ideas.

We did circle where girls shared of how they felt and the question was what makes you happy?



One of the girl said –
Mujhe khushi batana acha lagta hai..:) I like to share happiness, and she had also written khushi with different colors on her paper.Someone else shared dancing, art and going to school is something that they really liked.

The number of 92 stuck me initially, but I just felt it was the expression of togetherness which over powered everything else inside the room.And some magic was created… and it just kept swaying till many days. The next day girls picked up their papers and colors and made some groups and did some art.I don’t know till when will till happen, but the moment of circle where we held each other together and what emerged during that time was something I will always carry with me, no matter where I go, what I do. But the ability of sharing happiness that I learnt from there will spread its happiness always.
