I have been inspired by Sister Marilyn Lacey's work with refugees over the course of many years, and have recently finished reading her book, This Flowing Toward Me, which moved me greatly. I had the good fortune to preview and write the description for the Karma Tube video Mercy Beyond Borders, which is about Sister Marilyn's non profit of the same name. Her recent Awakin Call and the Daily Good article about her experiences have further fueled my desire to spend more time with the wisdom and the many opportunities for insight and growth that Sister Marilyn's story and her work provide.

I would like to invite members from the ServiceSpace community who are interested in an online circle to explore how Sister Marilyn's experiences and writings can inform our own paths toward expanded hospitality and mercy, to please post a comment below to express your interest. In Sister Marilyn's words: "I invite the reader to sit with any of the wonderful hospitality stories found in the traditions of all the great religions. Mull them over; ask God for insight into them. Then ask for courage to take small steps in expanding your own circle of hospitality."
