Evening of Poetry and Songs of Kabir: Weds. Oct 23 @ 6:30pm (Mill Hill)

On Wednesday, October 23rd, we invite you to come together for an evening of songs and contemplation on the Poetry of Kabir, interpreted in English and sung by Vipul Rikhi, who is in London for a short visit from India. Vipul Rikhi is a singer, poet, storyteller and translator, immersed in the oral traditions of Kabir and other Bhakti and Sufi poets. The evening offers a deep dive into understanding the wisdom of self enquiry embedded in Kabir's poetry, which Vipul interprets in simple stories. For more info and to RSVP visit the event page.

Awakin Circle with Child Refugee, Gulwali Passarlay: Thurs. Nov 14 @ 6:30pm (Pimlico)

On Thursday, November 14th, we invite you to come together for a reflective gathering with child refugee, Gulwali Passarlay, who is graciously traveling down all the way from Bolton to be with us. Ani and Trishna had the joy of meeting Gulwali in January 2017 at an intimate gathering, where he shared stories of his treacherous journey escaping Afghanistan to seek a new life in Britain as a 12-year-old child refugee. This experience, which he has eloquently shared in his memoir The Lightless Sky, shaped Gulwali's future and inspired an insatiable determination and commitment to raise awareness and make a difference for other refugees. Join us for a dialogue with Gulwali to learn about his moving life story -- for more info and to RSVP visit this event page.

We look forward to being with you at an upcoming gathering.

With love and gratitude,

Trishna, Ani, Mita, Vicky, Shamash, Ewa and Prashant
