I moved into a new apartment building this week. Today, my girlfriend and I prepared and delivered healthy, raw energy treats called Eternal Bliss Bars to our new neighbors to introduce ourselves and give an offering. One of the inhabitants, a wheelchair-bound woman with a speech impediment, said that she has lived in the building for several years but that someone knocking at her door at night has never happened before. Her life had dramatically changed when her illness prevented her from moving as easily as in the past. She seemed happy to have visitors and company to break up the isolation of "living in her own world" (as she described it) in her apartment. I pray that the bliss bars help her to heal from her physical illness and experience more meaningful connection in her life.
