[Inspired by last night's Virtual Awakin Circle, I tried to make a poem out of many of our thoughts, :) and was encouraged to share here. Thanks to everyone there for the inspiration and thoughts.]

Ranges of Small Beings.

The world lends things
Smiles lend smiles
Viruses lends viruses
All beings exist with a divine purpose
All beings who are able to provide loving kindness for.

Both -
small in nature
exuding ripples like the ocean

The virus forces us to step away
(Let's constant fear in our doors)

Yet our smiles seem to gather more than ever before anyway

To say I love you to those you may have not spoken to over long periods of time

To say hello to a stranger and grant it attention you may have not before

To connect with yourself, your heart, your core, in a way you forgot or maybe never knew how

Not my problem or your problem but our problem together

This fear that binds us also reminds us
The consistency of change
And the importance of listening to our elders
When they talk about things like routine
And how to give your mind less attention

It's time to let the Earth rest, give her some karuna (or compassion) to feel less of what she's been feeling for many centuries

The anxiety of the taking of humans

Time to stop and pause and give space for radical creativity
To restore what once was and can be again
Through divine invisible hands
Helping where they can.
