From the first time I heard this I have lived with this in my mind: that we don't know the outcome of events but that we can get on with living life fully and well as we feel called to. Granted, even that entails judgments about what one do but I believe we know in our hearts, if we listen, what this means. This may mean taking time to learn how to listen to your heart. It may be sharing this with others... the parable reminds us that we cannot know if what happens is good or bad, simply that it has happened and that we can choose to live 'in integrity' or not. We will make mistakes and discover better versions of ourselves as we go perhaps, but if we live in communion with our hearts, minds, bodies, spiritual essence and nature.... it may be healing and joyful and the integrity bring a wholeness to that which is and those that are around us.
