This past week, the Yankees baseball team hosted their "Hope Week"... and throughout the week, they did all these small acts (and also some large acts) of kindness. One story that really touched me is about Little Andy Fass...Andy is legally blind from a condition called oculocutaneous albinism. This past Wednesday, June 27th, just two months after he learned what a baseball is, the Yankees honored little Andy to throw out the first pitch in the baseball game. As most boys dream about playing baseball in the big leagues, well this time around, little Andy's dream came true...he not only threw the first pitch, but he also high 5'd the team after the victory...Now I'm not a Yankees fan by any means (Go Phils)...but this is beautiful and inspiring story. Glad that they Yankees are giving back to the community.
