OMnipresent Sing

 From my sleep
they called to me,
those pinpoints of light
piercing the deep.

“Look up!
Gather the Light into thee,”
hushed the night sky.

Filling my eyes
with dreams being born,
a cooler breeze tugged
past the nearing storm.

How can all seem
so peaceful and calm,
when world uncertainty rains?
Does this forested porch
umbrella more than any
battling campaigns?

Too many satellites traverse,
stealing attention from the Milky Way.
Not to drown,
I must close my gaze.

Heartbeat as drum,
my belly inflates with air
moving up to the center of me,
where all is held as prayer.

I am inside Van Gogh’s
swirling stars,
experiencing the echo of the
OMnipresent sing.

Truth, beauty.
Beauty, truth.
All is love.
Love is all.

There it rested.
Past any vision
of a starry starry night.

Invigorated,
I dared to request even more.

Shifting to a different view,
past any disbelief or doubt,
it came!
Blazing by
as a shooting star!

And I knew.

Peace reigns.
