Often Times Transforming Ourselves Seems So ...

Often times transforming ourselves seems so daunting or perhaps the idea of making an impact/change in the world seems too hard. One of the values I love about ServiceSpace has always been to focus on the small because it is with time and patience the small can be incredibly impactful (especially vs. the alternative of doing nothing at all). I came across this image that reminded me of that. Thank you ServiceSpace community for the constant inspiration, random acts of kindness, gift economy way of living, laddership way of leading, and for constantly reminding us of the power of the small!

Thank you Amit, sooo powerful.

I had also seen one more layer of this equation once i.e. if we degrade 1 % a day, then 0.99^365= 0.03.

On the opposite end, I also love this "Alice in wonderland" quote --

“Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!”

Strangely it talks about running and fast, which may not be tone in servicespace, but the lesson I take here is that some regular practice like kindness is important even to maintain our inner status quo.
