I had this awesome interaction today with a client. She shared a really powerful story about beginning her spiritual journey- she's joining the Yoruba tradition, being ordained as a priestess. She shared that she was really excited about it and it was helping her find "groundation". She said that unfortunately, she was saving up to actually be able to get a wardrobe of white clothes, as is part of the ritual of being ordained-- she has to give away all her current clothes and wear only white for a year. So, at the end of our session, I gave her my entire wardrobe of white clothes! It felt really good to be able to support her spiritual journey... and that the whites would live on as part of another person's spiritual path. Her reaction? She was pretty surprised that she'd come for healing and was walking away with a wardrobe of clothes to be able to start her initiation. Ahhh it's a good life!
