Since July, I have been hosting "Friday Gatherings" in the park next door to our home in Mill Valley. These gatherings at Molino Park have been such a blessing for our neighborhood. I have organized them sporadically in the past, but this summer I wanted to bring more form. I created a beautiful flyer, and my husband, George and our children, Emily and Peter, and our two lovely dogs Helen and Karla, distributed them around the neighborhood. My dear and beautiful neighbor Margarita Loinaz and I have created space and intention for these gatherings. Margarita is a gifted healer (she practices Biodynamic Osteopathy) and honors a dedicated meditation practice since the age of 11. Each week brings an abundance of gifts. Sometimes we have 6 neighbors, other times 40 to 50 neighbors and friends. It is quite astonishing, and heart warming to witness a real thirst and honoring of community. Many evenings we have ukes, guitar and folk signing and others more intimate conversation. We have held a neighbor's loss of her husband, and welcomed two new babies, Jacques and Faith into the world.   Thank you, all, for your inspiration!
