Educating Young Kids On Waste

Microplastics and marine plastic pollution is a global challenge that requires more awareness and action to protect our environment. This week we'd like feature the work of WasteLess India that imparts knowledge to future custodians about plastics and waste management.

Their work is guided by the belief that when it comes to environmental education, the learning materials require more than simply filling heads with facts. The classroom experience has to light a fire in students’ hearts. It is essential that the curricula developed are driven by the interest of children to provide them with the possibility to follow their own thread of curiosity. [See Video]
