"So here is where I sit with scale today. I find in a deep inquiry it’s important to start with the fundamentals. On scale again, I ask the big question: Who am I and Why am I here? Is my life purpose to make the world safer from disasters? As noble of a goal as that maybe, it doesn’t ring true to me. If I get too attached to that, it will only serve my ego, another layer of identity. For whatever reason, I have build the skillsets I have, but the intention is to be most useful with what has been given to me... In the end-- and despite my actions-- it's not up to me and I am okay with both. But I am not willing to sacrifice the intention that brought me to serve for anything forced or contrived that might help me scale. And I deeply trust that if I put one foot after another with that intention, scale will happen, either inward or outward or both."
