When I read these reflections from Krishnamurthy Sir, I remembered one verse from my favourite Geeta which mentions that नैनं छिदà¥à¤°à¤¨à¥à¤¤à¤¿ शसà¥à¤¤à¥à¤°à¤¾à¤£à¤¿ नैनं दहति पावक: । न चैनं कà¥à¤²à¥‡à¤¦à¤¯à¤¨à¥à¤¤à¥à¤¯à¤¾à¤ªà¥‹ न शोषयति मारà¥à¤¤ ॥ This verse explains in entirety the fact that the soul is permanent. The body is just a temporary home of the soul but we love our home rather than the dweller and hence get into this sadness of death and impermanency. I am sure I have been living for ages and will live for many more so I have no fear of impermanency.
