When I say thank you in the way I was trying to describe, and fully trust that this gratitude is merited, I've found that it challenges me to discover what tailor-made lesson or pointer is being shared with me. In essence, I am compelled to ask, “Why the heck am I thankful for this thing that I find so odious?†And this is where things can get really interesting.
