It reminds me of many things. "Who you are in private is who you truly are in public" and "Speaking the truth out of love" It also reminds me of the statement that reasonable laws are for our own benefit and protection against evil and harm and laws are a way to relate to the divine and each other. It reminds me of "the laws of the Lord are perfect converting the soul, the testimonies of the Lord are pure, making the wise simple"
