The GNH campaign has also included driving ethnically Nepali people from their homes in Bhutan where they had lived for many generations. GNH is not inclusive. I have worked with some of the refugees who have endured untold hardships in camps and now in low-income housing in America and other countries. Their resilience and determination are amazing. Please don't buy the hype of the Gross National Happiness campaign. It has a very dark side behind the smiles of its leaders.
