Hi Ward, as he says, conflict is man made and so we as humans can unmake it. Hilarious when he shares about using the cellular phone. When I got my Blackberry a few years ago I asked one of my Grade 7 students if I must put it next to my computer while I am on the internet and then bluetooth the Whattsapp onto it. She laughed and told me that I have direct access to the net and she downloaded the app for me onto my phone. Values in school are so important so we have embedded the 7 values called the TeRRiFFiCC into our school culture. It stands for Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Faith, Caring and Citizenship. See you soon in Cape Town. We have a huge poster hanging in the foyer at our school on which are of the Dalai Lama's teachings; parents love it. Great words of wisdom, e.g. open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values". Andre Pretorius, Principal, possibility thinker and community builder at Heathfield Primary School.
