As someone who has developed a form of relational healing (see my non-commercial, slightly academic website) based on very similar principles, I was pleased to come across this article about Hakim Ilyas. As Hakim says, there is no shortcut to developing the qualities of a healer, no technology that can assist– and no formal qualifications that can accurately predict who will be able to do this work. It takes time and the personal development that comes from overcoming difficulties. Like Hakim, my style of healing developed out of my nature and my difficulties. Perhaps this is true of most healers?
