This jolted me out of my life-as-usual mindset this morning. Nipun, you are right in that this certainly shifted my sensibilities, and reminded me of times I had spent with people who had little and gave much. Reminded of those times, I also saw value in Tristan's statement - after those visits, I came back to 'my-life-as-usual'. While I have been connected with the people I met and have been working on their behalf, it has been a 'disconnected-but-connected' mindset - back and forth between living in the present moment, and maintaining consciousness of lesson learned from elsewhere. I see it will take some time to internalize those lessons!
