Your story is inspiring and heartbreaking at the same time. Immediately upon reading your article, I searched Google, and found a number of organizations that provide medical equipment/supplies/services in the situations similar to what you have described. I realize that communicating with those organizations is quite an effort, however, I believe that there is a good chance of success in securing assistance from some of them.
I do not have much experience in this line of work, but will be happy to at least help out initially until a better suited/experienced coordinator can be found.
