I don't know if I shared this with you but when I brought those smile cards into the jail, I was talking about how even small acts of kindness, when multiplied could have a huge impact, and I was talking about the community that Pancho is creating in Fruitvale through small acts of kindness and service. A young brother in the back of the cell hollered out, "I live in that neighborhood, I've gotten fruits from that guy!!!" Small world, and the impact of these small actions can really go far, even into a jail cell.
