"For an act of kindness, I will take it!" wow :-) Love how the intention of service was transferred to the receiver too who was actually giving as well by taking it! We did something like that recently in the park here in Herastrau and were faced with the same suspect and skepticism but as soon as we said we are just doing this to spread some kindness, their guards would come down :-)
