This strikes me as SO true and it comforts me as I let go of my Mother, since her death four months ago. She was willing and ready to let go of this life, so that she could open up to whatever is next for her soul.
Yet, on another level, I am very challenged and distrubed by this view that says all must die for new life to come. The level I refer to is the death of our planet- our oceans as they acidify and warm too much, ending the ability of marine species to survive. Our cities and towns, with their millions of people and millions of other life/beings, as they flood, burn, drought, etc and eventually die. How can I think it's "ok" that the death of ALL is upon us, and that from this, new life will come? What is a healthy viewpoint here in the midst of climate chaos and collapse?
