I never told you this Nipun, but one of the reasons why I left (stepped down froM) all the non-profit boards I was part of previously was because of CharityFocus. Now, that may sound "bad" at first, but what I mean is that I left them to regroup on a personal level because I was so inspired by the CF manifesto. I knew that what we were up to wasn't so much about doing good as much as it was about "looking good". I'm in a place now where I'm getting ramped up to work with teams and groups that embrace a 'do good' vs 'looking good' philosophy and I really owe it to the example that CF has created. I always knew I wasn't living up to my service potential, but I never knew what the possibilities looked like till I ran into you and CF. Thanks for this post. It was wonderful.
