We laughed, we cried, we smiled.  Three steps and a bow, laughing yoga, random acts of kindness, senseless acts of beauty.  About 50 community organizers from around India (including five city hosts of Awakin Wednesdays) met for an exhilirating Giftivism gathering, that is creating some profound ripples from running a monthly service retreat to creating a 'giversity' to building an exclusive product line of wisdom crafts to operating a school on a gift economy basis and manifesting a new Giftivism platform for a whole city.  Even more than that, in the co-created field of love, dozens of folks reported profound moments of inner transformation -- which continued well past the formal days of the retreat.  On the first day, we focused on the head as we defined giftivism and engaged in discussions around edges of a gift culture; on the second day, we focused on the heart and talked about projects that the ecosystem can nurture (about dozen new ideas have emerged); on the last day, we focused on the hands and the various practices we can each engage in to deeply embody this change.  As one of our participants reported, "These were the most memorable days of my life."  Thank you to all of you for planting these seeds of Giftivism and to bless us in carrying forward the collective dialogue in India.  Here are some photos that you might enjoy.
