Weekly Awakin Circle - Fremont (In Person)
Inspired by global Awakin Circles and the spirit of community, we gather every week on Wednesdays at our home in Fremont to sit in silence for sometime, do a circle of sharing together. There is no cost to attend and there is no underlying agenda. It is simply an offering in the spirit of stillness and service.

Our format for the evening goes like this:
6:30PM Thirty minutes of chanting and 30 minutes of collective silence; its unguided, without any music. For first-timers, this primer on meditation may be helpful.
8:00PM Reading followed by a circle of sharing.

To join, simply RSVP with your email address below and we'll email you.

As more background, Awakin gatherings started when three friends got together two decades ago to sit in silence in an ordinary living room in Silicon Valley. No teachers or gurus. No set agendas or proposed beliefs either. Just one strong principle -- when you change within, the world changes. And instead of closing the door, they left it open ... to all. Today, Awakin Circles have organically rippled to eighty cities around the globe. People meditate for the part of the first hour, engage in a circle of reflective sharing in the second hour, and conclude the night by receiving a delicious home-cooked meal. A palpable sense of gratitude and community weaves through it all. Folks have blogged about its extra-"ordinariness", and the ripples of inner transformation are countless -- and continue on. Simply put, Awakin Circles are about sharing stillness, service, and community. If you're able to join, do RSVP below with your email, and you'll receive more details before the evening!
