Vadodara Maitri Circle (Virtual)
Gandhi had arrived at the Harijan Ashram in Delhi. In this ashram ran a workshop to train boys in various vocational skills.
When Gandhi entered this workshop during his round of inspection, the boys working there stopped what they were doing to stare at him curiously. A lone boy, engrossed in making rotis, was so involved in cooking them over the chulha that he did not get to know that Gandhi had just passed from there.
As Gandhi came out of the workshop, one of the boys remarked in amazement, "Arrey, the boy making rotis did not see Bapu at all." Bapu responded at once, saying, "If there is anyone who really saw me at all in the whole workshop, it is the boy who was making rotis."

Recently on every Sunday at Awakin Talks we are exploring the question: What would Gandhi Do in these times? Taking a que from the larger question, we are turning inwards to ask a micro question – What would I do? You know like those essays in School.

This week we thought of turning inwards to seek answers to some of the very pertinent questions we hold about our life’s destiny.

Gandhji offered 11 gems of wisdom as 11 Vows of Life. We plan to reflect upon some of these vows/values offered by Gandhji and learn how can we make it a part of our life, even in a small insignificant way that could potentially lead us to our destiny remaining grounded and strong.

This week we come together to learn from each other about their views and practices and experiments with these profound values offered to us by Gandhji. It would be a good reflective space for all of us to deep dive into the field of some of these vows and learn through collective consciousness and beliefs.

We don’t have Gandhiji with us. But we have our Sangha for us to learn and share from our own experiences.

Format for this week:
6:00 to 6:05 PM – Join the call in Silence
6:05 to 6:15 PM – Intention setting & Introduction
6:15 to 6:45 PM – Stories of Personal Journey and Experiments
6:45 to 7:15 PM – Circle of sharing
7:15 to 7:30 PM – Masti Time!

Vadodara Maitri Circle will be an evolving online space for us to engage, share, spread joy, and rise through the collective consciousness.

While these virtual gatherings are a slight departure from our regular Awakin Circles conducted in a physical space, the core intentions here remain the same which is to come together and hold space for each other and share in a context of stillness, community and service. Of course, with a dash of Masti for garnish!!

If you wish to join please RSVP below to avail the Zoom Call in Detaills.
